Ahh, the sounds of nature. If you live in the country, you may already blessed with a symphony of sweet music from nature's own orchestra. But for the rest of us, the sounds of nature have been replaced with sirens, honking horns, noisy neighbors, snoring partners and vibrating boom boxes that jolt you awake in the middle of the night and vibrate your eyeballs out at traffic lights.

So what could be bad about that site for nature sounds? Let me tell you… (more…)
I created many of my nature recordings before the days of the Department of Homeland Security. And it’s a good thing too. Because now, when I wander through State and National parks and forests wearing a big backpack and carrying tubular-shaped things with wires sticking out of them, mothers pull their children close and Rangers cast a wary eye.
